Do I have to submit a written PhD research proposal during the application?
Yes. You must submit a research project, which must be drafted according to the template.

May I insert images in the 2-page thesis summary?
Yes.

In which language should I write the 2-page thesis summary?
English.

Do I have to upload the Master's thesis PDF file along with the 2-page summary to PICA?
If you have already defended your Master's thesis, you must upload both the thesis PDF file and the 2-page summary to PICA as two distinct PDF files.
If you are expected to defend your Master's thesis no later than September 30, 2025, you may upload only the 2-page summary, signed by you and your thesis supervisor.

Do I need to upload recommendation letters?
No. You only need to upload your motivation letter. The research project template includes a specific section for a personal motivation statement

(For students from UniPD) May I use the self-certifications provided on the UNIWEB personal page as the transcript of records (ToR)?
Yes.

Do I need to include the requested ToR in the same PDF as the CV?
No. You must upload two separate PDF files.

Instead of a BSc and MSc, I hold a single 5-year degree (or similar) equivalent to a master's-level qualification. How should I complete the section regarding my academic records (Section C)?
You can use the MSc section. In the BSc table, please write in the first row next to 'BSc Degree in' a note referring the reader to the MSc table (e.g., 'My degree is structured as a single 5-year MSc program—see the MSc table for details').
