Training
CDSM offers a series of courses to enhance the skills and capacities of the PhD-students. The training program addresses the improvement of both scientific and transferable skills.
Advanced theoretical courses are offered on relevant scientific topics by members of the Academic Board and/or external (international) experts. These courses are specifically prepared for CDSM and the topics are treated at the PhD-level. Each course has a duration of 24 hours and is concluded with a final examination which has to be passed by the participating students.
The scientific courses are complemented with workshops and/or condensed lecture cycles held by renowned international experts. These events are organized ad hoc by members of the Academic Board and constitute an important possibility for the PhD-students to interact directly with experts in their field.
Seminars are organized on a monthly basis (CDSM Seminar - 10 annual,) in which (inter)national experts are invited to present the latest developments in the research areas of interest to the CDSM-community.
